It has been said:Treat
your employees in the way; you want them to treat your customers. Think about
it: Do you treat your Manager, Executive, Supervisor, Officer, and
Representative in the same manner, you treat your Customer? If no, then, you can
be rest assured, your employee is also doing the same with your customer. In the
long run, you will lose both the employee and customer.
There are numerous products and services in the market on how and why to treat the Customer and Consumer like a King. There is no doubt; the Customer treated like a King is going to buy the products of any organization for many years.
Unfortunately, there is no attempt whatsoever, to treat the Employee, the Internal Customer like a King. If we treat our Employee like a King, the Employee in turn is going to serve the Customer like King. It is a simple theory, but, neither practiced nor understood by the Best Management Experts.
What happens, when we fail to treat our employees well? What are results we get? How do these results affect the organization in the long run? Is there a relationship between treatment and contribution?
If we recognize, treatment of the internal customer, the employee can lead to long lasting profits, then, it is imperative to do so. It is said: Sometimes, a lost customer can be recovered thru’ advertising and sales promotion, but, it is impossible to get contributions from a Disengaged Employee. At the same time, cost of recovering a lost customer is nothing much compared to cost of replacing an Enlightened Employee. At the same time, just treating employees without getting matching contribution is going to give us Pampered Employees. To unleash Empowered Employees, it is to necessary to understand the “The DEEP”
